Two new mob guides this week, filling in the last couple of gaps in the Piglin family tree: Zoglins — what a Hoglin turns into if it wanders out of the Nether — and Piglin Brutes, the bastion guards that don't care what you're wearing.
Piglin Brutes and gold
Everyone who's read the Piglins Explained guide knows the gold-armor rule: wear one gold piece, and a regular piglin leaves you alone. Piglin Brutes are the exception. They spawn only in specific bastion rooms, guard whatever's inside, and attack the moment they see you — gold or no gold. If you've ever wondered why one bastion room turned into a real fight while the rest of the piglins ignored you, that's the Brute.
A small fix from last week
Last week's Ghast and Blaze guides — and last week's update post — picked up some stray text partway through that didn't belong there. It's fixed now; if you read either guide last week and it looked odd after the "Related" section, that's why, and it's cleaned up.
An older guide, refreshed
The Bastion Remnants guide now links out to the new Piglin Brute guide and to the world, so the whole Piglin/bastion side of the site connects up properly.
See you in the Nether
Between Piglins, Zombified Piglins, Piglin Brutes, Hoglins, and now Zoglins, the whole Piglin family is covered. If you haven't walked the world in a while, it's still there, waiting for you to come back through.
There's no comments section here and no forum — this weekly post is where the site talks back. If something changes, gets fixed, or gets built, this is where it'll be announced first.
